    • Clark Farley Thank you. trying to get Chapter 21 to the presses today (or tomorrow morning*). *Interesting topic, that. The time of day for writing. I find, while I am capable of writing evenings, I prefer mornings. That said, once I start work (in the 'real' world) it's all over, writistically-speaking. Whatever the mindset is for writing, it is not conducive to work and vice versa. That being said, if I already have a scene, the time I spend in my car (which is not inconsiderable) is useful to review/replay a scene in my head.

    • Clark Farley so, you got anything else in the works? or posted elsewhere? Your writing has, in fact, been very helpful to my own efforts (and a good read, too!)

    • Michael I'm in limbo until the results of The Summer Writing Competition are announced. If I win, I may pursue the same format. If not, I have the beginnings of a thriller, a fantasy and a romance ready to follow further but not online or published elsewhere. I haven't receceived any notifications about your latest story. Is there another chapter coming soon?

    • Clark Farley Just posted Chapter 20 of Home and Heart this morning. (I need to find my way back to the writing rhythm I had for ‘Almira’ and ‘Blogdominion’ which was a chapter a week. It was part of the deal I made with myself when I decided to try Jukepop. I have a writers conference (in the ‘real’ world next weekend that I have to get ready for (in what ways, I totally haven’t a clue… ) But I hope to get the momentum back for Home and Heart It is such an odd business, this writing/learning-to-write/trying-to-get-published. So many stumbling points and yet the allure seems un-diminished. I’ve enjoyed our comment-conversations at ‘Death by Chance’ and ‘Home and Heart’. Be interested in hearing of your upcoming projects. Thinking of starting a google hangout/facebook group to have the occasional video conversation with others engaged in the business of writing and such.

I heard about this story from a friend and they didn't give me a bum steer. Each chapter hooks to the next. It reminds me of Lawrence Block in the way that it tears along with no bullshit.
